Solution: Designed, developed and implemented a custom SAP FIORI application to process Picks and allow Bin to Bin movements within the warehouse.

Requirements:

The application will run on RF gun mobile computers with WiFi enabled Android operating system
Application to be capable of operating during intermittent loss of WiFi connectivity so there is no loss of the ability to work while eliminating the need to reauthenticate once in WiFi range
Application to responsively resize and reorient the screen based on the mobile device display size
Verify all defaulted, entered and scanned data to assure valid transactions can complete
Eliminate need to scan or enter repetitive data
Capable scanning both one and two dimension barcodes
Enforce ITS Security Policy so that the authentication, authorization and use of the device is controlled

FIORI Screens:

27 total screens were developed for this project. The application front end was prepared using SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 technology. Communication was provided via ODATA via SAP. The application has the ability to work online and offline and is available to Android devices with 2D barcode reading support. Automatic synchronization with SAP was configured. The application can work on mobile or web platforms.
